Radical Inclusion is a bold philosophy and policy framework that redefines how societies support marginalized individuals. It is not simply about allowing people into systems,it is about intentionally redesigning those systems so everyone can succeed.

Coined and championed by Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, former Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and Chief Innovation Officer of Sierra Leone, the concept focuses on ensuring that every person, regardless of gender, disability, socioeconomic status, pregnancy, or cultural background, is guaranteed full participation in society.

Radical Inclusion challenges deep-rooted biases, confronts institutional barriers, and reshapes policies to build a world grounded in dignity, fairness, and equity.

6 years ago, on Nov 20th, 2019, I took the oath of office as a cabinet minister in the Republic of Sierra Leone. On that same day (November 20th is World Children’s Day), as Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, I made a commitment that I will champion RADICAL INCLUSION.
